Kaweco CLASSIC SPORT Fountain Pen
It’s a classic for good reason! Kaweco’s Sport range features a distinguishable octagonal design with a chunky oversized cap, dating back to 1935. The Sport’s pocket size allows it to be ultra portable and sleek but with the comfort of a full size pen once the cap is posted, taking the fountain pen from 10.5cm to 13cm in length. It has a nice, lightweight Makrolon plastic body which is often considered a nice starting point for new fountain pen users.
So what’s included?
Kaweco include one international size ink cartridge with the Sport, and you can order a variety of replacements from the brands we stock. The Kaweco Sport’s nib is a 23ct gold plated steel nib, which writes smoothly in all nib sizes we tested. We would recommend starting with a medium or fine nib. If you like to secure your pen with a clip, pick up one of Kaweco’s optional octagonal pen clips (available in gold to match the Sport’s nib and trim, or alternatively silver).
